Why a camp in the Christmas holidays?

A lot of grassroots football, both matches and training, is cancelled over winter because of conditions or availability. For players who are not away at Christmas, the camp is a chance to get out of the house and get plenty of touches on the ball.

It is indoors, so the weather will not disrupt it.

It is on 3G, not a court, so what players work on relates directly to the grassroots game.

England Football Accredited Club, 1 star

Who coaches it, and is it safe?

Jonathan Gallucci, an FA accredited coach and club welfare officer, coaches the camp. Extra Time Coaching is a 1 star England Football accredited club: coaches are qualified and DBS checked, and all players are insured. What does accreditation mean?

More questions

Is the camp suitable for beginners?
No. The camp is for girls who already play grassroots football, so it is not a beginners’ session.
Can players from any club attend?
Yes. Extra Time Coaching is independent, so players from any grassroots club are welcome. There is no recruitment into a team, and the camp does not affect a player’s eligibility for their own club.
How do I book a place?
Places are limited, so please use the enquiry form to check availability.
